Garuda Wisnu Kencana, or GWK for short, is the name of a cultural park on Bali’s hilly southern coast. GWK is the place for one of the world’s tallest statues, a gigantic statue of Vishnu riding on the back of a ‘garuda’ (a supernatural eagle-like being). GWK Cultural Park is about 260 metres above sea level, resulting in must-see spectacular views overlooking the island and the ocean.
BATIC 2019 will held Gala Dinner in Lotus Pond inside the GWK Cultural Park area. Lotus Pond is the largest outdoor area in GWK and has been well known as holding a number of prestigious world-scale events.
